Just spent 4 nights in a Double or Twin Room with Bathroom and was blown away! The host, Julian, was super welcoming and made everything feel special. The location was fantastic, right near the Tor, and the vibe was ultra-relaxing. We loved the no-TV rule, which encouraged us to explore the area more. Can't wait to return!

unique decor, tranquil garden, spectacular views
The bathroom in room 6 was tiny and did not close securely!!! The communal dining area can feel cramped during busy times, and I would appreciate clearer communication regarding breakfast provisions!!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Phoenix Rise! The atmosphere is so relaxed. Waking up to bird songs in a gorgeous garden is unbeatable. Julian, the host, is super welcoming. Just a bit of a queue for the shared dining, but nothing major! Can’t wait to come back!

This B&B retreat is a complete 'wow'! The moment I entered, my jaw dropped at the stunning decor. The bedroom, with its gorgeous wooden floorboards and comfortable bed, was a serene escape. The view from the window was spectacular. Breakfast offered a lovely selection, presented beautifully, with the space being bright and spotlessly clean. The garden provided a tranquil haven—a perfect spot for contemplation. The short walk to the paths leading to Glastonbury Tor was fantastic, and exploring the nearby town was enjoyable with its unique shops and the Chalice Well gardens. I was disappointed with the need to pay the full amount up front and found that the communication regarding breakfast provisions could have been clearer. During my stay, there were cobwebs that needed attention, and while the host Julian was nice, I felt more engagement would have enhanced the experience. there are some lovely aspects, but it could benefit from more attention to detail and guest interaction.

My stay was tainted by the overwhelming feeling of disorganization. The bathroom was exceedingly cramped, which was uncomfortable to navigate, and there was a lack of clarity regarding breakfast arrangements. the communal dining area often felt crowded, making it challenging to relax during meals.
